Essential persons (both staff and participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face masks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Riverdale Poppy was slow to begin.

Baffling, Quinnley Bale and Aston Trump collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Quinnley Bale which subsequently faulted and pulled up. Still Learning and Blackpool Homer collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Riverdale Poppy checked off Alira Gem on the first turn. Riverdale Poppy raced wide in the home straight.

Quinnley Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race four.  Quinnley Bale was found to have an injury to the right thigh and hock and a lacerated achilles tendon.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr Gary Mannion was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Zambora Crystal pursuant to GAR 33.

Riverdale Texas was quick to begin.

Riverdale Texas, Pabbie Bale, Zambora Crystal, Kazoo Giblet and Reiko Haze collided approaching the first turn, checking Pabbie Bale and Zambora Crystal. Leo Giblet crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and checked off Pabbie Bale. Leo Giblet brushed the rail on the first turn. Riverdale Texas and Zambora Crystal collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Riverdale Texas crossed to the outside approaching the home turn and galloped on Zambora Crystal.

Bobby Reiko was slow to begin.

Riverdale Peggy and False Alarm collided soon after the start, checking False Alarm. Violet Rose, Fernando Mila and Blackpool Kaine collided soon after the start. Blackpool Kaine and Marshall Giblet collided approaching the first turn. Blackpool Kaine and False Alarm collided on the first turn, checking Blackpool Kaine. Bobby Reiko crossed out approaching the home turn and collided with False Alarm.

Agnet Bale was quick to begin.

Cloudy Diamond and Diama Miss collided approaching the first turn, checking Diama Miss. Nunninong Bear, Yuna Bale and Oseye Bale collided approaching the first turn. Cloudy Diamond checked off Yuna Bale on the first turn. Oseye Bale and Exford Norm collided approaching the home turn and in the home straight. Diama Miss turned it's head outwards and collided with Exford Norm in the home straight.

Diama Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr Anthony Clarke-Bruce the trainer of Diama Miss regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Diama Miss was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Clarke-Bruce pleaded guilty to the charge, Diama Miss was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

So Joe Mac and Tinker Luke collided soon after the start, checking Tinker Luke. Tinker Luke faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.

Tinker Luke underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hamstring and back muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Beta Days Ahead and Mississippi Mud went up with the lids and box rise. Beta Days Ahead was slow to begin.

She's Something checked off He's A Geezer on the first turn. Almapa Sunshine and He's A Geezer collided on the first turn. Super Nat checked off Beta Days Ahead on the first turn. Almapa Sunshine and Major Bourbski collided on the home turn.

Super Nat underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Buffet Baron - Acting on a confirmed telephone call with Trainer Mr Joshua Formosa the greyhound was declared a late scratching at 12.43pm due to a left wrist injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Calabrese Gino was qiuck to begin.

Take A Sunflower checked off Forbidden Love on the first turn causing Take A Sunflower to collide with Harrell Bale, checking both Take A Sunflower and Harrell Bale.

On Pursuit - Subsequent to an inquiry, representative Mr Ricky Coleman was issued a charge pursuant to GAR 86(o). The particulars being that Mr Coleman negligently presented an incorrect greyhound to race. Mr Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $250 with $100 of that suspended for a period of 6 months. In arriving at penalty Stewards considered the circumstances of how the incident occurred, that the correct greyhound was presented shortly thereafter and Mr Coleman's guilty plea.

Riverdale Shine and Riverdale Tifany were slow to begin. Charm Offensive and On Pursuit collided approaching the first turn. Fernando Pat and Neesa Giblet collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. On Pursuit and Riverdale Tifany collided on the first turn.  Riverdale Shine checked off Charm Offensive approaching the home turn. Charm Offensive and Nessa Giblet collided in the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Quinnlee Giblet - the winner of the event.

Zipping Petra was quick to begin.

Blackpool Cruz, Limburg Special and Helmet Giblet collided approaching the first turn, checking Limburg Special. Helmet Giblet checked off Orson Reiko approaching the first turn. Blackpool Cruz checked off Helmet Giblet on the first turn.

Coconino was quick to begin. Jeziah Bale was slow to begin.

Magic Panther, Burn Your Name and Pai Gow Poker collided approaching the first turn. Aston Shadow and Ziems Park Miss collided on the first turn, checking Ziems Park Miss. Pai Gow Poker and Burn Your Name collided entering the home straight and in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Magic Panther and Aston Shadow collided in the home straight. 

Pure Promise and Riverdale Bear were slow to begin.
