Dr. Lysandra was quick to begin. Supercomputer was slow to begin. Jayville Menace and King Of All collided soon after the start. Trust I Seek checked off Dr. Neeki soon after the start. King Of All checked off Aztec Blaze entering the back straight. Aztec Blaze checked off Dr. Neeki approaching the second turn. Aztec Blaze, Jayville Menace and Dr. Lysandra collided on the home turn. Dr. Lysandra and Supercomputer collided entering the home straight. Aztec Blaze turned it's head outwards and crossed out entering the home straight and marred Dr. Lysandra. Aztec Blaze raced wide and marred Dr. Lysandra several times in the home straight.
Supercomputer underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Darren Irby, the trainer of Aztec Blaze regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Aztec Blaze was charged with marring. Mr. Irby pleaded guilty to the charge, Aztec Blaze was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
