Stewards spoke to Mr. Darren Irby, the trainer of Aztec Blaze regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight and in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Aztec Blaze was charged with marring.  Mr. Irby pleaded guilty to the charge, Aztec Blaze was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future  nomination will be accepted.

Dr. Carmel - Late scratching at 12:30pm when Mr. William McMahon reported the greyhound to have an illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
