Steward's Report
Essential persons (both staff and participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face masks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Up The Dale was quick to begin. Benjamin Rose was slow to begin. Ballistic Breeze and Chilly Slater collided soon after the start causing Chilly Slater to lose ground. Dr. Earnie and Desley collided on the first turn checking Dr. Earnie. Up The Dale and Dundee Hornet collided on the home turn. Desley checked off Up The Dale in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Chilly Slater underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
