Cosmic Roy was quick to begin. Tiger Isla checked off Lavish Diamond soon after the start. Tiger Isla, McLinden and Do Good Davlin collided approaching the first turn. Tiger Isla galloped on McLinden approaching the first turn causing McLinden to lose ground. Carrie and Do Good Davlin collided approaching the home turn; Do Good Davlin contacted the running rail as a result. Mclinden checked off Do Good Davlin on the home turn. Egyptian Tiger checked off Carrie in the home straight. Tiger Isla raced wide in the home straight.
Do Good Davlin underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
