All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Black Eyed Heart was quick to begin.

Blue Entourage and Idaho collided soon after the start. Black Eyed Heart, Finding Gobi and Blue Entourage collided on the first turn checking Black Eyed Heart, Finding Gobi, Blue Entourage, Idaho and Snow Onyx causing Finding Gobi and Snow Onyx to fall, checking Blue Entourage and Idaho. Idaho and Black Eyed Heart collided in the home straight. Blue Entourage checked off Idaho approaching the winning post. Blue Entourage and Black Eyed Heart collided approaching the winning post checking Black Eyed Heart.

Snow Onyx completed the event, placing 4th for the purpose of betting. Finding Gobi failed to finish. 

Finding Gobi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right radius and ulna. Finding Gobi was humanely euthanased.

Snow Onyx underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Shivering Stone was slow to begin. Blackpool Coco was quick to begin.

Pronator and Maverick Sandy collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Shivering Stone checked off Duck Duck Dash approaching the first turn. Duck Duck Dash checked off Max McCartin on the first turn causing Duck Duck Dash and Volenti to collide, checking Duck Duck Dash, Volenti and Shivering Stone; all three greyhounds lost ground. Shivering Stone checked off Duck Duck Dash approaching the home turn and again in the home straight. Volenti raced wide in the home straight.

Butter Puddin' - New declared weight of 31.9kg, last raced at 33.4kg.

Alvira was quick to begin. 

Tinker Bono and Butter Puddin' collided soon after the start. Tinker Bono, Beanie Eyes and Butter Puddin' collided approaching the first turn checking Beanie Eyes. Alvira and Go Wheels collided approaching the home turn. Just The Marjen visibly eased approaching the home turn. Tinker Bono raced wide entering the home straight checking Go Wheels.

Just The Marjen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left fore paw and the right hind leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Mathew Tabb regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1) Just The Marjen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Tabb pleaded not guilty to the charge, Just The Marjen was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Raquea's Dream crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with American Star. Our Flying Bolt and Blazing Lizzie collided approaching the first turn. Raquea's Dream checked off American Star on the first turn. American Star and Magic Panther collided on the home turn and again in the home straight checking Raquea's Dream.

Charmed and Bus Driver were quick to begin. Rockstar Britt was slow to begin.

Upright, Mississippi Mud and Electric Hippy collided soon after the start. Upright checked off Electric Hippy on the first turn.

Blackpool Alfie was quick to begin. Black Garnet was slow to begin.
