A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Tinker Jenny, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Atlantic Lady with trainer, Mr R Proctor and noted his comments.

Tinker Jenny, Zipping Blossom and Millie's Wonder collided soon after the start. Little Herbie, Shore's Boy and Grand Warrior collided soon after the start; checking Little Herbie and Shore's Boy. Zipping Blossom and Millie's Wonder collided on the first turn. Grand Warrior and Luigi Bale collided on the first turn. Atlantic Lady and Grand Warrior collided approaching the home turn. Zipping Blossom and Luigi Bale collided in the home straight.
Atlantic Lady underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg monkey and right hindleg back muscle injueies. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Little Herbie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
