The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Modern Shadow, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Black Booker checked off Blackpool Coco approaching the first turn checking Modern Shadow. Blazing Zara checked off Angelique Bay on the first turn. Myola Knight, Atlantic Lady and Blackpool Coco collided on the first turn checking Atlantic Lady. Angelique Bay and Lektra Roll collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Extreme Days was quick to begin. Premier Slice and Memory Lass were slow to begin.

Myola Frost and Jet Burner collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Memory Lass galloped on Calthorpe on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Extreme Days visibly eased and turned its head to the outside approaching the home turn. Mt. View Jester and Capital Kay collided on the home turn checking Capital Kay which collided with Extreme Days, subsequesntly checking Extreme Days and Capital Kay. Premier Slice and Myola Frost collided entering the home straight.

Extreme Days underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist and right monkey muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr Brian Weis regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Extreme Days was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Weis pleaded guilty to the charge, Extreme Days was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Robert Proctor regarding the racing manners of Capital Kay on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Proctor, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

A pre-race sample was taken from Two Mac's Bang.

Bermuda, Yassie Belle and Cullquin Vincent collided soon after the start checking Yassie Belle. Swamp Donkey and Super Remi collided approahcing the first turn. Bermuda and Yassie Belle collided on the first turn checking Yassie Belle and Super Remi. Cullquin Vincent, Head Bouncer and Two Mac's Bang collided on the first turn checking Head Bouncer. Super Remi raced wide on the home turn. Two Mac's Bang raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Malmo.

Ronny Mac was slow to begin.

Blackpool Pyro, Danny Creek, Nyssa's Girl and Aston Malmo collided approaching the first turn checking Balckpool Pyro, Danny Creek and Nyssa's Girl. Ronny Mac galloped on Blackpool Pyro on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Bel Air Haze and Supercross collided approaching the home turn. Supercross checked off Bel Air Haze in the home straight. 

Blackpool Pyro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have general muscle soreness.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Cleo, Agent Roket and Ollie were slow to begin.

Cruyff, Zipping Levi and Devika Bale collided soon after the start. Zipping Levi, Don't Forget Kev and Cruyff collided on the first turn checking Cruyff. Devika Bale and Ollie collided on the home turn.

Joffa's Shadow, Poppo's Grinning, Stolen Jewels and Reiko Bear collided soon after the start checking Poppo's Grinning and Stolen Jewels. Poppo's Grinning and Stolen Jewels collided on the first turn. Reiko Bear checked off Poppo's Grinning in the home straight.

Calico Bull was slow to begin. Aston Jansz, Josie's Call, Mt. View Audrey and Winlock Winner collided soon after the start checking Josie's Call and Mt. View Audrey. Calico Bull, Twinkle Love and Winlock Winner collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Jansz and severely checking Twinkle Love and Josie's Call. Calico Bull, Winlock Winner and Josie's Call collided on the first turn checking Winlock Winner. Calico Bull and Mt. View Audrey collided approaching the home turn. Aston Jansz raced wide on the home turn. 

Twinkle Love underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Josie's Call underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Chill Winston was slow to begin.

Our Brinni, Madam Malkin and Wild Slammer collided soon after the start checking Madam Malkin. Fried White Bait and Our Brinni collided approahcing the first turn. Freddy Reiko and Aston Stock collided on the first turn. Fried White Bait and Wild Slammer collided on the first turn checking Our Brinni. Appalachian and Aston Stock collided approaching the home turn checking Aston Stock. 

Mt. View Dodger -  Late scratching at 10:40am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a papilloma on the left front foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Arriba Arriba was slow to begin.

Lektra Lolly, Alsace and Alabama Anna collided soon after the start checking Alsace. Lektra Nat and Alsace collided approaching the first turn checking Alsace. Lektra Nat, Alsace and Arriba Arriba collided on the first turn checking Alsace. Lektra Nat and Arriba Arriba collided approaching the home turn checking Arriba Arriba. 

Arriba Arriba  – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

I'm A Burner and Bourne Maximum were slow to begin.

Amelie Otis and Reiko Bolt collided soon after the start. Benefit Summary, I'm A Burner and Bourne Maximum collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Amelie Otis checked off Reiko Bolt on the first turn checking Benefit Summary. Black Heel High and I'm A Burner collided entering the home straight checking I'm A Burner.

Out Smart 'Em, Jack's Gone Wild and Butterfish were slow to begin.

Kingy Lights, Grand Giveaway and Running The Wind collided soon after the start checking Grand Giveaway. Out Smart 'Em and Grand Giveaway collided on the first turn. Kingy Lights checked off Mini Yaala approaching the home turn checking Running The Wind. 

Mark Giddings was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Free Advice pursuant to GAR 33.
