Steward's Report
One Zorro was slow to begin.
Holiday In Paris and Wolf Shadow collided soon after the start. One Zorro brushed the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Holiday In Paris and Defiance collided on the home turn. Lil Roughy and Wolf Shadow raced wide on the home turn.
One Zorro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the muzzle and a spike wound on the left foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Sandro Cassar, the Trainer of One Zorro regarding its performance on the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, One Zorro must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
