Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Elegant Ebony, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Due to a technical issue with the semaphore board this race was displayed as Race 1.
Free Gift crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Atlantic Lady and Inga Brodie. Elegant Ebony checked off Inga Brodie approaching the first turn. Atlantic Lady and Free Gift collided on the first turn, checking Atlantic Lady. Mt. View Pearl checked off Free Gift approaching the home turn. Mt. View Pearl and Inga Brodie collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Little Herbie underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request following race 10 and was found to have a right hindleg hock injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Myola Sunrise - the winner of the event.
