Due to a technical issue with the semaphore board this race was displayed as Race 12.

Kid Winslow, Burner Black and Tinker Dorf collided soon after the start, checking Burner Black. Kid Winslow checked off Tinker Dorf approaching the first turn. Midnight Crash and Pull Shot collided on the first turn. Kid Winslow galloped on Aston Logic approaching the home turn, checking Aston Logic; severely checking Kid Winslow, which tailed off. Winlock Buttons and Tinker Dorf collided on the home turn, checking Winlock Buttons.

Midnight Crash – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Kid Winslow underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
