Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Willow Ash checked off Eau De Vie soon after the start.  Up The Amount checked off Tansar Bale approaching the first turn.  Rajah, Eau De Vie and Willow Ash collided on the first turn checking Rajah and Willow Ash, causing Rajah to lose ground.  Eau De Vie checked off Tansar Bale entering home straight.  Tansar Bale and Eau De Vie collided approaching winning post.

I'm Stained and Fly To Victory collided soon after the start.  I'm Stained, Fly To Victory, Galloping Suzy and Idalia Bale collided approaching the first turn checking I'm Stained and Fly To Victory, I'm Stained contacted the running rail as a result.  Jesse Riccarton checked off Idalia Bale on the first turn checking Galloping Suzy and Boes Bambino.  Fly To Victory checked off Galloping Suzy approaching the home turn.  Fly To Victory and Galloping Suzy collided on the home turn.  Fly To Victory and Boes Bambino collided entering the home straight.

I'm Stained underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and an abrasion to the left metatarsal.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Dewana Magoo contacted the running approaching the first turn checking Dewana Magoo and Send It Tucker.  Why Not Opal crossed in on the first turn severely checking Little Yaala and Uncharged, causing Mystic Faith to race wide. Dewana Magoo checked off Send It Tucker on the home turn.  

Dewana Magoo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrsion to the left stifle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

No Marjen turned its head outwards approaching the first turn.  Broady Lights and No Marjen collided approaching the first turn.  Antique Ali checked off Raquea's Dream on the first turn checking Dewana Smokey, Antique Ali stumbled as a result.  Raquea's Dream checked off Valka Bale approaching the home turn.  Broady Lights and No Marjen collided in the home straight checking No Marjen.  

No Marjen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.  Trainer Mr. David Jensen declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Jensen regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) No Marjen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Jensen pleaded not guilty to the charge, No Marjen was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lewis Osti and Dr. Mick collided approaching the first turn.  Sticker Stinger galloped on Heidi on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, causing Heidi to fall.  Baggy's Gold galloped on Lewis Osti on the first turn.  Dr. Mick and Huey's Dream collided approaching the home turn.  Lewis Osti, Dr. Mick and Huey's Dream collided on the home turn.  Baggy's Gold and Teddy Too collided on the home turn.  Lewis Osti and Baggy's Gold collided approaching the winning post.

Heidi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left metacarpal.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

It's A Drama checked off Erupting Avatar approaching the home turn. 

My Oh Fernando – Late scratching at 6.24pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to right hind toe injury.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Fine Intention and Slick Intention collided several times approaching the first turn.  Slick Intention, Lockwood Lad and Swift Intention collided on the first turn.  Slick Intention and Swift Intention collided on the second turn checking Slick Intention and Lockwood Lad.

Due to a technical fault with Top Cat Video, Stewards collaborated the report for this event with all available vision.

Run Shifty Run underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right shin soreness.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Run Shifty Run with representative, Mr. Jeff Galea and noted his comments.

Take A Daisy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle and left triangle injuries.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
