A pre-race sample was taken from Mighty Tracey.
Dirty Max checked off Midnight Tracey soon after the start. Ginger Meggs, Midnight Storm and Take A Daisy collided soon after the start checking Midnight Storm and Take A Daisy. Take A Daisy checked off Mighty Tracey approaching the first turn, Take A Daisy lost ground as a result. Ginger Meggs, Mighty Tracey and Knuckles collided several times approaching the winning post.
Run Shifty Run underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right shin soreness. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Run Shifty Run with representative, Mr. Jeff Galea and noted his comments.
Take A Daisy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle and left triangle injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
