Suspense Rules and Noaki Street collided approaching the first turn, checking Noaki Street. Frost Us checked off Senor Diego on the first turn. Frost Us and Esther Bale collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds. Noaki Street turned its head on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Suspense Rules and Noaki Street collided in the home straight; checking both greyhounds.
Noaki Street underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr J Reynolds regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn and entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Noaki Street was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Reynolds pleaded guilty to the charge, Naoki Street was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
