Steward's Report
Astrolithology was quick to begin. Upright, Gaerwen Bale and Ripplebrook Glen were slow to begin.
Levi's Me Boy and Ton Eighty collided soon after the start. Upright checked off Ripplebrook Glen on the first turn. Ton Eighty and American Spy collided approaching the home turn and American Spy on the home turn checking American Spy which raced wide. Astrolothology turned its outwards entering the home straight.
Astrolithology underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following event 7 - no apparent was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Dominic Crisafi, the trainer of Astrolithology regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Astrolithology was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Crisafi pleaded guilty to the charge, Astrolithology is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
