Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Pretty More underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Honey's Destiny checked off Bindi Girl soon after the start.  Hurricane Keely galloped on Tiger's Roar approaching the first turn severely checking Hurricane Keely, Tiger's Roar and Bindi Girl.  Tiger's Roar and Honey's Destiny collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Hurricane Keely and Jakey's Day raced wide on the home turn.  Tiger's Roar, Mt. View Jester and Honey's Destiny collided entering the home severely checking Tiger's Roar, checking Mt. View Jester and Honey's Destiny.  Honey's Destiny checked off Mt. View Jester in the home straight.

Hurricane Star checked off Galway Lights soon after the start.  Galway Lights checked off Molly Magic on the first turn.  Hurricane Gypsy checked off Apple Valley on the first turn.  Hurricane Gypsy raced wide entering the home straight.  Hurricane Gypsy and Molly Magic collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Walk On Betty checked off Molly Magic approaching the winning post.  

Fabulous Journey was quick to begin.  Gunner's Hawk and September Dream were slow to begin.  Zipping Kay checked off Nan Moffitt soon after the start.  Nan Moffitt and Italia Bella on the first turn checking Italia Bella.  Fabulous Journey and Noaki Street collided approaching the first turn checking Fabulous Journey.  Zipping Kay checked off Noaki Street in the home straight.  Fabulous Journey and September Dream collided in the home straight.  

Astrolithology was quick to begin.  Upright, Gaerwen Bale and Ripplebrook Glen were slow to begin.

Levi's Me Boy and Ton Eighty collided soon after the start.  Upright checked off Ripplebrook Glen on the first turn.  Ton Eighty and American Spy collided approaching the home turn and American Spy on the home turn checking American Spy which raced wide.  Astrolothology turned its outwards entering the home straight.

Astrolithology underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following event 7 - no apparent was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Dominic Crisafi, the trainer of Astrolithology regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Astrolithology was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Crisafi pleaded guilty to the charge, Astrolithology is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aquileia and Crouching Tiger were slow to begin.  Mac's Mayhem and Mighty Matilda collided approaching the first turn.  What A Kicker crossed in on the first turn severely checking Pilot Pete, What A Kicker and Muza's Angel, What A Kicker fell as a result checking Aquileia, Pilot Pete lost significanyt ground and Muza's Angel pulled up.  

What A Kicker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind leg.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Muza's Angel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

Una Star went up the lids and was slow to begin.

Bomber's Queen crossed in soon after the start checking Verne Bale. Braeside and Bomber's Queen collided on the first turn.  Braeside and My Oh Fernando collided in the home straight. 

Buddy Blinx was a late scratching at 7.36pm. Stewards spoke to trainer Peter Grice and informed him that he would be excluded from the race meeting in accordance with GAR 20(3)(n) and that Buddy Blinx would be withdrawn from the meeting under GAR 20(4)(b) due to his failure to comply with reasonable COVID-19 measures and instructions, implemented by GRV.

Rocket Strike and Aston Rum were quick to begin. 

Dybala, Emerley Nolen and Matilda Mikado collided approaching the first turn checking Dybala and Emerley Nolen.  Dreamy Eyes, Dybala and Emerley Nolen collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds, Dreamy Eyes and Dybala contacted the running rail as a result.  Matilda Mikado checked off Splinter in the home straight.  Aston Rum checked off Splinter in the home straight.

Dybala underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mister Mercury, Double Eclipse, Star Gem and No Sugar collided approaching the first turn checking Double Eclipse, Star Gem and No Sugar. No Sugar galloped Star Gem on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  No Sugar race wide on the home turn.  

No Sugar underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Gunmandu was slow to begin.

Split Pea, Crystal Kiss, Esther Bale and Mess collided approaching the first turn checking Split Pea, Crystal Kiss and Mess.  Big Plans, Marshall Dillon and Lennie's Flyer collided approaching the first turn checking Big Plans and Gunmandu.  Crystal Kiss checked off Marshall Dillon in the home straight.  

Banjo Plato - New declared weight of 33.4 kg, last raced at 32.3 kg.
