Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Addy's Evie and Amazing Roy were slow to begin.  Full Of Talk and Texas Metal collided soon after the start.  Chase The Magic and Adrianna collided on the first turn.  Adrianna and Kutcher's Ruslie collided on the first turn.  American Spy and Chase The Magic collided approaching the home turn.  Texas Metal collided with Adrianna entering the home straight.  Kutcher's Ruslie, Texas Metal and Adrianna collided approaching the winning post.

Texas Metal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Minne, representative of greyhound, Texas Metal, regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.  After viewing all available video footage and taking into account Ms. Minne's explanation, Stewards took no further action. 

Bomber's Queen was quick to begin.  Got Girl, Shy But Savage and Bomber's Queen collided on the first turn checking Bomber's Queen.  Got Girl and Shy But Savage collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

View Emma was quick to begin.  Ripplebrook Mack galloped on Parumba Barty on the first turn checking Ripplebrook Mack, Run To You, Parumba Barty, Double Eclipse and Star Gem.  Hurricane Keely raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Run To You checked off Parumba Barty entering the home straight.  Ripplebrook Mack and Run To You collided approaching the winning post. 

Lovin' The Sun crossed inwards soon after the start checking Grab That Earn.  Tinker Cindy and Inter Vince collided approaching the first turn checking Tinker Cindy.  Inter Vince and Fabulous Journey collided in the home straight.  Fabulous Journey lost ground in the home straight.

Fabulous Journey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Pete and Boolavogue collided soon after the start.  Mess crossed in soon after the start checking Somerton Osprey, So Joe Mac and Kingy Lights.  Somerton Osprey and Mess collided approaching the first turn checking Somerton Osprey.  Boolavogue and Kingy Lights collided on the home turn.  Hurricane Pete checked off Somerton Osprey in the home straight.  Boolavogue and Kingy Lights raced wide in the home straight.
