Steward's Report
As greyhounds arrived at the starting boxes for this event, several track lights malfunctioned. Stewards ordered all greyhounds to return to the kennel block until the lighting issue was resolved. As a result, the remainder of the meeting went back one race. All race start times were amended with the last race rescheduled for 10.15pm.
Cayden Bale was quick to begin. Peregrine Speed and Hayley Hook were slow to begin.
Double Eclipse checked off Cayden Bale approaching the first turn. Cayden Bale and Boolavogue collided on the first turn. Kingy Lights galloped on Madalia Phoebe on the first turn. Double Eclipse and Boolavogue collided in the home straight.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Hayley Hook, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
