All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to the kennel attendants and reminded them to be more diligent during the kenneling process after it was established a greyhound had not been securely locked away during kenneling.  This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation. 

Lady Driftwood was slow to begin.

Rowchester Patty checked off Crymelon Ivy soon after the start.  Mav's Magic, Lektra Terrace and Albuquerque collided approaching the first turn, checking Mav's Magic.  Lektra Terrace, Albuquerque and Lady Driftwood collided on the first turn, checking Lady Driftwood.  Mav's Magic and Crymelon Ivy collided on the first turn, checking Mav's Magic.  Lektra Terrace and Albuquerque collided approaching the home turn.  Crymelon Ivy raced wide in the home straight.

Zipping Vin was quick to begin.  Peponi Bale was slow to begin.

Crymelon Tactile and Crymelon Libby collided approaching the first turn.  Crymelon Libby checked off Call Me Lucy on the first turn.  Peponi Bale raced wide approaching the home turn.  Peponi Bale checked off the heels of Entice entering the home straight.

Monument Valley and Josie Wags were quick to begin.

Lonesome Star and Happy Lass collided soon after the start, checking Lonesome Star.  Where's Goose and Happy Lass collided approaching the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Mahogany Flame, Monument Valley, Crymelon Comet and Crackerjack Noah collided on the first turn; checking Mahogany Flame, Monument Valley, Crymelon Comet and Where's Goose.

Sugar Shane was slow to begin.

Tokyo Ted and Diamond Siena collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Diamond Siena.  Sugar Shane and Plain Name collided on the first turn.  Diamond Siena and Lektra Violet collided approaching the home turn.  Diamond Siena and Sugar Shane collided on the home turn.  Sugar Shane and Lektra Violet collided in the home straight.

Cawbourne Coco, Butternut, Clean Slate and Jabba Bolt collided approaching the first turn; checking Butternut and Clean Slate.  Clean Slate raced wide on the home turn.

Max's Idol, Banjo Bert and Hojilla Bale were quick to begin.  Hatters Lane was slow to begin.

Banjo Bert and Hojilla Bale collided soon after the start, checking Hojilla Bale.  Banjo Bert raced wide approaching the home turn; severely checking Oriental Amber.  Hatters Lane raced wide on the home turn.  Cryer's Spring checked off the heels of Max's Idol in the home straight and raced wide as a result. 

Oriental Amber underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hindleg spike wound and right hindleg pencil/whip injuries.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Invictus Caleb and All Over Max were quick to begin.

Lektra Boogie checked off Spring Poldark approaching the first turn.  All Over Max and Impress Troy collided on the first turn, causing All Over Max to stumble; resulting in All Over Max and Impress Troy being checked.  Close Encounter and Lektra Boogie collided approaching the home turn.  Close Encounter checked off Impress Troy on the home turn.  Spring Poldark galloped on the heels of Ten's Enough in the home straight.  Close Encounter checked off Impress Troy in the home straight.  Spring Poldark and Impress Troy collided approaching the winning post.

All Over Max underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg spike wound.  No stand down period was imposed.

On The Air and Crackerjack Lach were slow to begin.

Litigator checked off Moon Flower approaching the first turn.  Esmay checked off Moon Flower on the first turn; checking Litigator, Mepunga Sparkle and Crackerjack Lach.  Moon Flower and Eureka Icon collided entering the home straight, checking Moon Flower.

A post-race sample was taken from Nitro Georgie - the winner of the event.

Got The Edge was quick to begin.

Not Arandt and Miss Avonlea collided approaching the first turn, checking Not Arandt.  Not Arandt checked off Miss Avonlea on the first turn.  Red Mahogany and Miss Avonlea collided on the first turn; checking Red Mahogany and Not Arandt; Not Arandt stumbled as a result.  Gladiator Hulk checked off Birdbrook in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Crackerjack Zave.

Ivy Izmir checked off Rona Express approaching the first turn.  Pretty Much checked off Rona Express on the first turn, checking Ivy Izmir.

Ivy Izmir underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hindleg pencil/whip injuries.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Chasing Honey.

Aston Ruston, Mahogany Queen and Summer Alarm collided soon after the start; checking Aston Ruston and Mahogany Queen.  Gotham Duchess checked off Barellen Pearl approaching the first turn and collided with Aston Ruston.  Summer Alarm and Dynamite Miss collided on the first turn; checking Barellen Pearl and Chasing Honey.  Aston Ruston and Chasing Honey raced wide on the home turn.  Gotham Duchess turned its head inwards and marred Summer Alarm approaching the winning post.

Gotham Duchess underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have mouth, abdominal muscle and right hindleg pencil/whip injuries.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Thomas Boehmke, the trainer of Gotham Duchess regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Gotham Duchess was charged with marring.  Mr Boehmke pleaded guilty to the charge, Gotham Duchess was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
