Steward's Report
Buzz Out – Late scratching at 5:27pm due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Leathan had informed Stewards that he had broken down en-route to Warrnambool. After receiving some follow-up material, the Stewards were entirely satisfied that the circumstances surrounding the non-arrival were established and removed the 28 day stand down, in accordance with GAR 31.
Perpetuate was slow to begin. Free Gift and Aston Stella collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Free Gift. Fly To Victory and Zulu Duchess collided approaching the home turn.
