Steward's Report
Dusty Lyn visibly eased soon after the start and tailed off as a result. Friesian Flyer and Lala Eucalyptus collided on the first turn. Friesian Flyer and Tinker Jenny collided on the first turn. Roxy Patron checked off Postman Pickett approaching the home turn, checking Roxy Patron. Lala Fig and Lala Eucalyptus collided approaching the home turn.
Dusty Lyn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer Mrs A. Dailly regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Dusty Lyn was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs A. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Dusty Lyn was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
