Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Prince Jed upon arrival at the course.
Retro Rocket and Prince Jed were slow to begin. Go Nera, Blackest Black and Recapture Time collided approaching the first turn checking Go Nera and Blackest Black. Prince Jed and Magnetic Steff collided on the first turn checking Magnetic Steff. Flossy Jo and Recapture Time collided on the first turn severely checking Recapture Time which stumbled. Go Nera was checked off Flossy Jo approaching the home turn. Prince Jed raced wide in the home straight. Recapture Time cramped in the home straight and lost ground.
Recapture Time underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Recapture Time must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
