A sample was taken from Valhalla Girl at the trainer’s kennel earlier today.
This event was rescheduled to start at 11.03pm following the delay after the previous race.
Trance and Okay Sam were slow to begin. Trance was checked off Valhalla Girl approaching the first turn. Zambora Bear crossed in on the first turn checking Valhalla Girl, Why Not Dan and Mia's Hand. Mia's Hand contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.
Mia's Hand underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left stifle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
