Hold On and Yellowtail Bear were quick to begin. Star Ballerina and Rebel May Road were slow to begin. Serengeti Icon and Star Ballerina collided soon after the start. Hold On and Yellowtail Bear collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Serengeti Icon, Star Ballerina and Rebel May Road collided on the first turn. Aston Kipchoge and Fully Roasted collided on the first turn. Star Ballerina and Rebel May Road collided on the first turn checking Rebel May Road. Serengeti Icon was checked off Yellowtail Bear approaching the second turn. Hold On, Yellowtail Bear and Star Ballerina collided on the third turn checking Hold On and Yellowtail Bear.
