The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Swift By Design and Carry On Liam collided entering the back straight. Colden Dayto checked off Dark Compass approaching the third turn causing Dark Compass to gallop on Carry On Liam severely checking Dark compass which lost considerable ground as a result. Colden Dayto checked off Carry On Liam approaching the home turn. Hebridean Black and Handsome Jack collided entering the home straight.

Dark Compass underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Winlock Thor crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Tippa and Daph's Ascend. Nevilla Bale and Tippa collided in the front straight. Winlock Thor, Carry On Angel, Shanlyn Charlott, Daph's Ascend and Major Giblet collided approaching the first turn severely checking Shanlyn Charlott and Daph's Ascend causing Shanlyn Charlott to lose considerable ground. Winlock Thor checked off Carry On Angel entering the back straight. Tippa checked off Nevilla Bale approaching the third turn. Daph's Ascend checked off Major Giblet entering the home straight. 

Shanlyn Charlott underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ernesto Bale was slow to begin.

Gentleman Thief and Kudos Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Gentleman Thief checked off Madam Rosemerta approaching the first turn Madam Rosemerta checked off Max Voltage on the first turn and collided with Gentleman Thief and Zekel Bale causing Madam Rosemerta to lose ground. Made Me Blind checked off Zipping Rambo on the first turn. Kudos Bale shifted out in the back straight and collided with Made Me Blind several times. Kudos Bale checked off Made Me Blind on the third turn. Zekel Bale and Max Voltage collided on the home turn.

Frank's Girl and Fernando Bluey were slow to begin.

Darra Onyx and Revelation collided soon after the start. Frank's Girl, Elsa Rose, Exhilarating and Midnight Force collided on the first turn checking Elsa Rose. Exhilarating and Frank's Girl collided approaching the second turn checking Exhilarating. Exhilarating turn its head outwards and visibly eased approaching the second turn. Darra Onyx and Frank's Girl collided on the second turn. Daph's Zac and Exhilarating collided entering the back straight. Revelation and Darra Onyx collided on the third turn causing Revelation to fall. Exhilarating checked off Daph's Zac approaching the home turn checking Elsa Rose; Exhilarating stumbled as a result.

Exhilarating underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Presutto, the Trainer of Exhilarating regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Exhilarating was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Presutto pleaded guilty to the charge, Exhilarating was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Revelation underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right pectoral muscle and right infraspinatus muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Steamy Jack and Church Mouse collided soon after the start. Fabriola Expert, Rall's Girl and Aston Samurai collided soon after the start. Lady Fabio, Fabriola Expert and Rall's Girl collided in the front straight. Halwes and Lady Fabio collided in the front straight checking Lady Fabio. Halwes and Aston Samurai collided approaching the first turn. Lady Fabio checked off Rall's Girl approaching the second turn. Steamy Jack marred Locked In approaching the winning post.

Steamy Jack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Billy Stockdale, the Trainer of Steamy Jack regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Steamy Jack was charged with marring. Mr Stockdale pleaded guilty to the charge, Steamy Jack was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
