Steward's Report
Spring Party and Aston Titan collided soon after the start. Aston Titan and Ma's Plum Jam collided soon after the start. Spring Party, Aston Titan, Ma's Plum Jam and Fabriola Yes collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Party, Ma's Plum Jam and Fabriola Yes. Aston Titan and Cherokee Twist collided on the first turn. Boombox Robbie and Weblec Diamond collided approaching the second turn. Boombox Robbie checked off Weblec Diamond approaching the second turn checking Harrell Bale. Fabriola Yes checked off Ma's Plum Jam on the second turn.
Boombox Robbie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hock sprain, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms J. Hopkins, Trainer of Boombox Robbie. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Ms Hopkins to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Boombox Robbie in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post race sample was taken from Weblec Diamond, the winner of the event.
