Trainer Mr Brett Nye was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Magnussen pursuant to GAR 33.
Capture Bart and Aston Ulysses collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Aston Ulysses and causing Capture Bart to fall. Iago Bale and Nevilla Bale collided on the third turn checking Iago Bale and Orwell Bale. Aston Ulysses, Gentleman Thief and Orwell Bale collided on the home turn. Aston Ulysses and Orwell Bale collided in the home straight.
Capture Bart was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A post race sample was taken from Magnussen, the winner of the event.
