Daintree Dynasty and Mystic Fancy were slow to begin. Jaded Sandy and Daintree Dynasty collided soon after the start checking Daintree Dynasty. Jaded Sandy, Bernmar Pete and Gino Keeping collided approaching the first turn checking Gino Keeping. Jaded Sandy and Daintree Dynasty collided on the first turn checking Daintree Dynasty. Jaded Sandy was checked off Mystic Fancy in the back straight. Stealthy Mark, Scull O'Reilly and Princess Alyssa collided approaching the home turn checking Stealthy Mark, Bernmar Pete and Scull O'Reilly. Stealthy Mark, Scull O'Reilly, Gino Keeping and Mystic Fancy collided approaching the home turn checking Mystic Fancy, Gino Keeping and Jaded Sandy. Bernmar Pete galloped on Stealthy Mark approaching the home turn checking Bernmar Pete and severely checking Stealthy Mark which subsequently fell.
