The start of this event was delayed by two minutes to hold for Hobart Harness.
Count Me In and Take A Rose collided soon after the start checking Take A Rose. Spring Blue crossed in approaching the first turn checking Count Me In and Chill Out Dusty. Rose Royce was checked off Twelfth Of Never on the first turn severely checking Rose Royce, Chill Out Dusty, Hayley Hook and Count Me In, causing Hayley Hook to lose considerable ground.
Hayley Hook underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
