Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Carano, Brief Hello, Coco Lilly and Bit Of Pepper were slow to begin.  Bit Of Pepper crossed in soon after the start checking Brief Hello.  Brief Hello and Coco Lilly collided approaching the first turn checking Brief Hello.  Chatterbox Tilly and Recapture Time collided on the first turn checking Recapture Time.  Bit Of Pepper, Light It Up and Recapture Time collided entering the home straight checking Recapture Time.

Galloping Speed, Showtime Boomer and Big Bash Army were slow to begin.  Lady Loch crossed in approaching the first turn checking Ivy Isobel.  Galloping Speed and Showtime Boomer collided approaching the first time checking Showtime Boomer.  Galloping Speed and Ivy Isobel collided on the first turn checking Galloping Speed.  Showtime Boomer was checked off Ivy Isobel on the first turn.  Gippsland Storms and Tiffy's Express collided approaching the home turn checking Gippsland Storms.

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Parade Steward Ms. P. Toner did not act in any official capacity that may in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Bean's Multi was quick to begin.  Zing On, Crumlin and Galloping Albi collided approaching the first turn checking Crumlin.  Ethan's Fury crossed in on the first turn checking Zing On and Galloping Albi. Crumlin and Galloping Albi collided approaching the home turn checking Galloping Albi.  Shucks visibly eased and turned its head out in the home straight and again approaching the winning post checking Bean's Multi.

Shucks underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5, no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. George the trainer of Shucks regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight and approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Shucks was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due committment.  Mr. George pleaded guilty to the charge, Shucks is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Victa Libby was slow to begin.  Kraken Pat and Brave Traveller collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Super Nat and Ignite The Stars collided approaching the first turn checking Super Nat and Shock Value.  Victa Libby brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Shock Value was checked off Super Nat on the first turn.  Johnny Be Good crossed in on the first turn checking Ignite The Stars.

Classified was checked off Percy's Legacy soon after the start.  Reichman and Go Twenty Two collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Bates and Tech Stock collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Incognito was checked off Tech Stock in the home straight.

Another Rupee and Dybala were slow to begin.  Sticker Sparkles, Pop Rock and True Alpha collided soon after the start checking True Alpha.  Pop Rock and Zipping Lach collided approaching the first turn checking Zipping Lach.  She Wiggles was checked off Shaded Disguise on the first turn. Another Rupee raced wide in the home straight.

Rock Me Gorgeous - late scratching at 5.49pm on the advice of the on-track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a split webbing on the left hind foot.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Usain Spolly was slow to begin.  Nera Enough was checked off Usain Spolly soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Usain Spolly and Almapa Berisha collided on the first turn severely checking Almapa Berisha.  Nera Enough raced wide in the home straight.
