Steward's Report
Perfect Glory and Real Reward were quick to begin. Carry On Liam, Mepunga Knight and Runaway Lad were slow to begin. Real Reward crossed to the inside and collided with Nino's Girl, Mepunga Freda, Kuro Kismet and Perfect Glory soon after the start checking Real Reward, Mepunga Freda and Kuro Kismet. Perfect Glory checked off Runaway Lad on the first turn. Nino's Girl, Mepunga Knight and Carry On Liam collided on the first turn checking Nino's Girl, Mepunga Knight, Carry On Liam, Kuro Kismet and Mepunga Freda.
Real Reward underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left back muscle and a spike wound on the left elbow. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Ms Natalie Presutto regarding its performance soon after the start. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Real Reward must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Post-race samples were taken from Runaway Lad (1st) & Perfect Glory (2nd).
