Leo Rose and Harper's Girl were slow to begin. Dyna Xervo and Hook Along Book collided on the first turn checking Dyna Xervo. Show Of Force and Dyna Xervo collided on the first turn checking Show Of Force. Leo Rose was checked off Weeona Pete on the home turn. Leo Rose and Weeona Pete collided several times in the home straight.
Show Of Force underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left groin. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
