A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Lady Loch. A post race sample was subsequently taken.
Chatterbox Tilly was quick to begin. Walk With Grace, Ironclad and Lady Loch collided on the first turn checking Walk With Grace and Crumlin. Chatterbox Tilly and Shucks collided approaching the home turn checking Chatterbox Tilly. Ironclad and Lady Loch collided approaching the home turn. Ironclad was checked off Lady Loch entering the home straight. Bean's Multi raced wide entering the home straight. Bean's Multi and Shucks collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. B. George, the trainer of Shucks and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
