Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Falcon Lane and Lady Loch were quick to begin.  Zipping Major was slow to begin.  Zing On, Blackjack Ruslie and All To Mac collided soon after the start checking Blackjack Ruslie and All To Mac.  Jimmy Goat Rose and All Mayhem collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Zipping Major was checked off Zing On on the first turn.  Zipping Major raced wide on the home turn.  Blackjack Ruslie and All Mayhem collided entering the home straight checking Blackjack Ruslie.  Zipping Major raced wide in the home straight.

Percy's Legacy and Aston Saigo were quick to begin.  Jane Way was slow to begin.  Aston Toto, Aston Saigo, Dynamic Swan and Zipping Whoopi collided soon after the start checking Zipping Whoopi.  Aston Saigo and Dynamic Swan collided approaching the first turn checking Dynamic Swan.  Classy Stringer galloped on Zipping Whoopi approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, Classy Stringer lost considerable ground and Zipping Whoopi fell. Aston Toto, Aston Saigo and So Hazy collided on the first turn checking Aston Saigo, causing Aston Saigo and Dynamic Swan to collide severely checking both greyhounds, Aston Saigo fell and Dynamic Swan tailed off.  So Hazy and Jane Way collided approaching the home turn.  Percy's Legacy and Aston Toto collided several times from the home turn to the home straight.

Aston Saigo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left radius/ulna and was humanely euthanised.

Dynamic Swan underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Whoopi underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Addy's Evie was slow to begin.  Break The Chains and Aston Rabanne collided soon after the start. Agent Piper and Jenny Kay Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Jenny Kay Rose clipped the heels of Portelli Punk on the first turn checking PortellI Punk which raced wide as a result.  Aston Rabanne, Addy's Evie and Break The Chains collided approaching the home turn.  Aston Rabanne and Addy's Evie raced wide in the home straight.

Swift Timing was quick to begin.  Moroka Magic and Samp De Keats were slow to begin.  Samp De Keats and Nicholas Rose collided soon after the start checking Samp De Keats. Nicholas Rose and Leo Rose collided on the first turn.  Zipping Kingston and Swift Timing collided on the first turn. Samp De Keats was checked off Leo Rose approaching the home turn. Nicholas Rose raced wide in the home straight.

So Joe Mac was quick to begin.  On The Duck was slow to begin.  Pay The Bill and So Joe Mac collided approaching the first turn.  Purify Virtuoso, Pay The Bill, So Joe Mac and Pine Gem collided on the first turn checking Pay The Bill and So Joe Mac.

I'm The Greatest was slow to begin.  I'm The Greatest, Brother Griff and Mt. View Audrey collided soon after the start.  Shady Talks and What Price Mason collided soon after the start.  What Price Mason and Hurricane Red collided on the first turn.  I'm The Greatest.
