Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Golden Ratio was slow to begin.  Golden Ratio and Zipping Buzz collided soon after the start.  Write About Her and Natural Ivy collided approaching the first turn checking Natural Ivy.  Scorching Sun, Even Keats and Write About Her collided approaching the first turn checking Even Keats and Write About Her.  Scorching Sun and Write About Her collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Zipping Buzz was checked off Golden Ratio on the first turn.  Natural Ivy was checked off Even Keats on the first turn.  Natural Ivy and Zipping Buzz collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Write About Her raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Prince Jed was slow to begin.  Totally Bella and Neo Cleo Us collided approaching the first turn checking Totally Bella.  Neo Cleo Us was checked off Dinkydi Barney on the first turn.  Amazing Roy was checked off Neo Cleo Us on the first turn.  Prince Jed and Dinkydi Barney collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Neo Cleo Us raced wide on the home turn.  Dinkydi Barney was checked off Prince Jed entering the home straight.  Neo Cleo Us and Dinkydi Barney collided in the home straight.  Totally Bella,  Neo Cleo Us and Dibkydi Barney collided approaching the winning post.

Shy But Savage was quick to begin.  Mayhem's Quest was slow to begin.  Shonky Sticker and Aston Rabanne collided soon after the start checking Shonky Sticker.  Aston Rabanne crossed in on the first turn severely checking Hyena Queen which lost ground checking Magic Voyage.  Mayhem's Quest and Shonky Sticker collided on the first turn checking Shonky Sticker.  Aston Rabanne crossed out on the home turn checking Mayhem's Quest.  Aston Rabanne and Shy But Savage raced wide in the home straight.

Whodat Opal was quick to begin.  Belt Up Ronny and Nicholas Rose were slow to begin.  Whodat Opal visibly eased approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground checking Can't Say That. Toby Time and Shanlyn Rob collided on the first turn checking Shanlyn Rob.  Do Good Davlin and Nicholas Rose collided on the first turn checking Do Good Davlin.  Do Good Davlin and Can't Say That collided in the home straight.  Aston Turbine, Toby Time and Shanlyn Rob collided approaching the winning post.

Whodat Opal underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8. Whodat Opal was found to have an injured left triangle muscle and left pencil muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. S. Ralph regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1) Whodat Opal was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Ralph pleaded not guilty to the charge, Whodat Opal was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Judge Hook was quick to begin.  Madalia Mick was slow to begin.  Madalia Mick was checked off Pure Magic soon after the start.  Judge Hook and Pure Magic collided on the first turn checking Judge Hook.  Madalia Mick raced wide on the first turn and the home turn.  Ivey's Affair raced wide on the home turn.  Judge Hook and Baggy's Gold collided in the home straight.

Flywheel Bella was quick to begin.  Pack Of Jokers was slow to begin.  Nera Enough and Jebrynah Octave collided approaching the first turn.  Shuffle The Deck and Feel The Thunder collided on the first turn severely checking Shuffle The Deck, checking Feel The Thunder, Pack Of Jokers and Panda Rose.  Feel The Thunder galloped on Jebrynah Octave approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Flywheel Bella and Nera Enough collided in the home straight.

Aston Hackett and Rizzo collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds, severely checking Concrete Fever.  On The Duck was checked off Hurricane Pete on the home turn

Macalister Tiger was checked off Usain Spolly soon after the start.  Buffet Destroyer was checked off Tin Shed Fred soon after the start.  Fancy Fabio, Alpine Cowboy and Tin Shed Fred collided approaching the first turn severely checking Alpine Cowboy, checking Buffet Destroyer.  Glamorous Lass and Usain Spolly collided entering the home straight.  Macalister Tiger raced wide in the home straight.
