Steward's Report
Mr I.Robinson was issued with a warning after the greyhound Pyrenees Steele was negligently (GAR 86(o)) placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.
Club Official, Mrs J.Hooke was reminded of their responsibilities after the greyhound Pyreness Steele was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.
A pre-race sample was taken from Major Bourbski.
Pyrenees Steele, Pure Cool Titan and Railway Burra were slow to begin. Eddie, Nella Bale and Garage Sale collided on the first turn checking Eddie. Scott Magic, Garage Sale and Nella Bale collided entering the back straight. Scott Magic and Garage Sale collided approaching the second turn. Pyrenees Steele, Eddie, Pure Cool Titan and Major Bourbski collided on the second turn. Eddie, Pure Cool Titan and Major Bourbski collided approaching the home turn. Pure Cool Titan clipped the heelps of Pyrenees Steele on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Garage Sale and Major Bourbski collided approaching the winning post.
Pure Cool Titan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
