Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Justin Rose.
Kramer Bale, Aron Allen and Time Twister were slow to begin.
Sedaka and Coco Marlow collided soon after the start. House Of Luck and Coco Marlow collided approaching the first turn. Justin Rose and Kramer Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Kramer Bale. House Of Luck checked off Coco Marlow on the first turn. Aron Allen checked off Time Twister on the first turn. Kramer Bale marred House Of Luck on the home turn and eased in the home straight severely hampering House Of Luck.
Kramer Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr M. Cameron, the trainer of Kramer Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Kramer Bale was charged with marring. Mr Cameron pleaded guilty to the charge, Kramer Bale is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Sedaka - winner of the event.
