Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Standing Bear.
Billy's Missile and Owlette collided soon after the start checking Owlette. Standing Bear and Miss Walt collided on the first turn. Miss Walt and Billy's Missile collided approaching the home turn, Billy's Missile stumbled as a result causing Wishing Angel and Covfefe to collide; Wishing Angel checked off Billy's Missile. Brindle Ninja faltered approaching the home turn and lost ground, causing Brindle Ninja and Standing Bear to collided. Billy's Missile checked off Brindle Ninja approaching the home turn.
Brindle Ninja underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Covfefe – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.
