Steward's Report
Mr. D. Schwarz was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Galloping Nikki pursuant to GAR 33.
Vineyard was quick to begin. Ado Carr and Keep 'Em Keen were slow to begin. Galloping Nikki and Hurricane Billie collided soon after the start and again on the first turn. Galloping Nikki galloped on Keep 'Em Keen approaching the home turn. No Sugar and Keep 'Em Keen collided on the home turn. Keep 'Em Keen clipped the heels of Party Muscles in the home straight checking Party Muscles. Party Muscles tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Party Muscles underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6. Party Muscles was found to have an injured right monkey muscle and right thigh and an abrasion on the right calf. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Ado Carr - winner of the event.
