Steward's Report
Zipping Murphy, Lightning Beach and Striking Tiger collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Striking Tiger and Volcanic Lava collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Unwanted Lady checked off Imminent Reality on the first turn checking Zipping Hilton. Volcanic Lava and Zipping Hilton collided on the second turn checking Volcanic Lava. Striking Tiger and My Attitude collided on the third turn checking My Attitude. Zipping Hilton marred My Attitude on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Zipping Hilton underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Azzopardi, the trainer of Zipping Hilton regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Zipping Hilton was charged with marring. Mr Azzopardi pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Hilton is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
