Steward's Report
Mr D. Pell requested an early race endorsement for Ride High. The endorsement was approved for Ride High after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Stewards directed the greyhound compete in Early Races only until further notice.
A pre-race sample was taken from Little Tubbsy.
Undisputed was quick to begin. Optimus Dusty and Ride High were slow to begin.
Litte Tubbsy and Undisputed collided soon after the start. Nate's Awesome and Inter Santina collided approaching the first turn. Inter Santina and Chasing Rex collided on the first turn causing Inter Santina and Ride High to fall. Chasing Rex and Optimus Dusty collided on the first turn. Optimus Dusty and Nate's Awesome collided approaching the third turn.
Inter Santina underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hind and fore legs and to the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
Ride High underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.
