Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Urana Mustang, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Skinny Legend was checked off Rocky Pie approaching the first turn checking Urana Mustang. Skinny Legend visibly eased approaching the first turn checking Urana Mustang. Rocky Pie, Why Not Rose, Urana Duke and My Gem collided on the first turn severely checking Why Not Rose and My Gem, Successful Sissy was checked as a result. Rocky Pie visibly eased approaching the home turn. Urana Duke and Alisha Hook collided on the home turn. Successful Sissy raced wide on the home turn. Rocky Pie visibly eased entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Urana Duke and Alisha Hook collided in the home straight.
Rocky Pie underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left deltoid muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Conway trainer of Rocky Pie regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn, entering the home straight and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Rocky Pie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Conway pleaded not guilty to the charge, but was found guilty. Rocky Pie is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Skinny Legend was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Curtain pleaded guilty to the charge, Skinny Legend is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
