Steward's Report
Following the running of Race 3, the seals on kennel bays 5-12 were broken to enable Stewards and the Club Veterinary Surgeon to inspect all runners due to illness concerns. A visual inspection of all greyhounds kenneled revealed no abnormalities. All kennel bays were re-sealed in the presence of Stewards, club staff and the Club Veterinary Surgeon.
Chopper Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. Lisa Delbridge, the representative of Chopper Bale, regarding the greyhound's performance approaching the winning post and advised her that Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 Chopper Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
