Fabriola Dill went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Think Big Harry was slow to begin.

This event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to technical difficulties with the photo finish computer. The issue was resolved prior to the running of this event.

American Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have vomitted post-race. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms N Mc Rae, trainer of Gleeson was issued a warning in that she made contact with the rear of the boxes after boxing the greyhound pursuant to GAR 51 (10)(c).

Newtown Angel – Late scratching at 20:47 pm when representative Mr A Kenyon requested to withdraw the greyhound from this event. As the reasoning for the application to scratch did not fall specifically under the provisions of GAR 23, a 10-day stand down period was imposed which will be subject to review by the Chief Steward, upon application. 

My Lil' Angel was slow to begin.

Scatterbox, Slingshot Spirit and Cash No Bounce collided approaching the home turn, checking Slingshot Spirit and Cash No Bounce. Slingshot Spirit and My Lil' Angel collided on the home turn.

Supplementary Report: An application was recieved from connections to review the 10-day stand-down on Newtown Angel. The penalty was reduced by Stewards to 3 days and will expire at midnight on 6 March 2020.

After reviewing the head-on footage of the event, Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Franklin, the trainer of Montaya and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.

Chopper Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Lisa Delbridge, the representative of Chopper Bale, regarding the greyhound's performance approaching the winning post and advised her that Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 Chopper Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Furnace Bale, Galway Grange, Claretown Rocky and Permit Granted collided on the first turn, checking Cherokee Cash. Aston Genesis checked off Debt Hacker approaching the home turn. Permit Granted crossed to the rail approaching the home turn. Permit Granted checked off Debt Hacker on the home turn. Aston Genesis and Furnace Bale collided on the home turn. Aston Genesis checked off Galway Grange entering the home straight. Permit Granted eased and turned his head outwards approaching the winning post and collided with Slingshot Chas, checking Slingshot Chas. 

Permit Granted underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to have an abrasion, right hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Bull, the trainer of Permit Granted regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69 (A)(1) Permit Granted was charged with with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr.P. Bull pleaded not guilty to the charge, Permit Granted was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
