Steward's Report
Stewards contacted the Weather Bureau after there was lightning in the area prior to this event. The Bureau advised that the weather was moving south, away from the track, the race proceeded on time with no further lightning.
Winlock Dyno was quick to begin. Winlock Sunshine crossed in on the first turn checking Sanjiro, Winlock Newbolt and Too Good Joog, Too Good Joog faltered and subsequently tailed off. Ashwood was checked off Tickle My Fancy entering the home straight. Tickle My Fancy crossed to the outside in the home straight.
Too Good Joog underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
