Do Good Davlin was quick to begin.  It's A Shadow and Taciana collided approaching the first turn checking It's A Shadow, Taciana and Capture Courtney.  Full Moon Fever and Morbius collided approaching the first turn checking Morbius.  Full Moon Fever, Capture Courtney and Taciana collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Taciana and Morbius collided in the home straight.

Sovereign Wind was quick to begin.  Ollie's Portrait was slow to begin.  Nothing Lasts and Swift Intention collided entering the home straight.  Nothing Lasts raced wide approaching the winning post.

Moroka Magic was slow to begin.  True Alpha and My Era Rico collided soon after the start.  True Alpha, My Era Rico and Attitude Plus collided approaching the first turn.  Moroka Magic and True Alpha contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Do A Runner and Attitude Plus collided on the first turn checking Attitude Plus and Revolution Hook.  My Era Rico was checked off Attitude Plus on the home turn.

Moroka Magic underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

True Alpha underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Smokin' Cindy was checked off Alon approaching the first turn.  Smokin' Cindy crossed to the rail approaching the first turn.  Parzival and You Tell Me collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Alon and Father Phevos collided on the first turn checking Alon.  Dr. Headley and Father Phevos collided on the first turn checking Kindra and severely checking Father Phevos.  Kindra was checked off Smokin' Cindy in the home straight.  Dr. Headley and You Tell Me collided several times in the home straight.

Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, races were suspended at 8.00pm and put back 1 race, the last race re-schedule to 10.50pm, due to storm activity (continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around Warragul).  Stewards made contact with the Weather Bureau for the second time at 8.19pm and were advised that lightning activity had cleared the area. Stewards were satisfied the weather conditions were satisfactory to resume racing. 

Curlin' Merlin was slow to begin.  Croucher and Muza's Angel collided soon after the start checking Croucher and Golden Night.  Sideshow Marjen was checked off Cee Me Snoop on the first turn.

A post race sample was taken from Tansy - winner of the event.

Stewards contacted the Weather Bureau after there was lightning in the area prior to this event.  The Bureau advised that the weather was moving south, away from the track, the race proceeded on time with no further lightning.

Winlock Dyno was quick to begin.  Winlock Sunshine crossed in on the first turn checking Sanjiro, Winlock Newbolt and Too Good Joog, Too Good Joog faltered and subsequently tailed off.  Ashwood was checked off Tickle My Fancy entering the home straight.  Tickle My Fancy crossed to the outside in the home straight.

Too Good Joog underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left triangle muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jillissa and Flinders were quick to begin.  Percy's Magic, Kasey Anne and Dr. Madelyn were slow to begin.  Cyclone Arrow and Inter Santina collided approaching the first turn checking Inter Santina.  Jillissa and Cyclone Arrow collided approaching the first turn checking Cyclone Arrow.  Rollo Ragnar crossed in on the first turn checking Flinders.  Flinders and Percy's Magic collided on the first turn checking Flinders, Percy's Magic and Kasey Anne.  Flinders and Kasey Anne collided on the home turn.  Percy's Magic was checked off Inter Santina entering the home straight.

A post race sample was taken from Rollo Ragnar - winner of the event.

Bomber's Return was quick to begin.  Dybala and Podium collided soon after the start checking Dybala.  Podium and Wears Woodleigh collided approaching the first turn checking Podium.  My Attitude and Riddles collided on the first turn.  Podium lost ground on the first turn.  My Attitude and Dybala collided approaching the home turn checking Dybala and Riddles.  My Attitude and Riddles collided in the home straight.  Bomber's Return tired approaching the winning post.

Bomber's Return underwent a post race veterinary examination and no injury was apparent.

Podim underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 11.  Podium was found to have an injured left achilles tendon.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Rose Royce, Madalia Champ, Back A Roughy, Army Bale, Megapascal and Ivey's Affair collided soon after the start checking Rose Royce, Madalia Champ and Megapascal.  Back A Roughy and Army Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Army Bale and Megapascal.  Army Bale, Megapascal and Ivey's Affair collided on the first turn.  Rose Royce was checked off Back A Roughy on the first turn severely checking Ellias Bale and Rose Royce.  Army Bale, Megapascal and Ivey's Affair collided approaching the home turn.  Army Bale and Megapascal collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lightning Blast.

Consider It Done and Zelma Bale collided soon after the start checking Zelma Bale.  Gypsy Hook and Consider It Done collided on the first turn checking Gypsy Hook.  Flash Paws was checked off Gypsy Hook on the first turn.  Dex's Affair and Zelma Bale collided on the first turn checking Zelma Bale.

Confront was slow to begin.  Ivoria Bale and Confront collided soon after the start.  Crakalakin Caity, Percy's Diva, Tiger's Crest and Pat Malone collided approaching the first turn.  Little Samara crossed out approaching the first turn checking Little Samara, Ivoria Bale and Crakalakin Caity.  Ivoria Bale was checked off Pat Malone approaching the home turn.  Little Samara galloped on Confront approaching the winning post.

A post race sample was taken from Percy's Diva - winner of the event.

Ms. J. Imlach failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Tamou Bale for racing.  Stewards issued Ms. Imlach with a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (1).

No Tickles was slow to begin.  Lexi Cristalle crossed in soon after the start checking Tamou Bale.  My Lucky Mia and Dream Wizard collided approaching the first turn checking Dream Wizard.  Tara's Magic and Lexi Cristalle collided on the first turn checking Lexi Cristalle and No Tickles, both greyhounds lost ground as a result.  Dream Wizard and Outlaw Donny collided approaching the home turn.  Dream Wizard raced wide/ungenerously on the home turn and collided with Outlaw Donny causing Outlaw Donny to race wide.

Dream Wizard underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined after 30 minutes on the request of the trainer, no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Lithgow the trainer of Dream Wizard regarding its performance on the home turn.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 Dream Wizard must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post race sample was taken from Tamou Bale - unplaced in the event.

Supplementary Report:

In accordance with GAR 75, Mr. Sean Lithgow informed Stewards on 21/2/20, that after having Dream Wizard checked by his vet, Dr. Chris Boemo, the greyhound showed the presence of shin soreness, and has recommended 2-3 weeks break from racing, with treatment.
