Bomber's Return was quick to begin. Dybala and Podium collided soon after the start checking Dybala. Podium and Wears Woodleigh collided approaching the first turn checking Podium. My Attitude and Riddles collided on the first turn. Podium lost ground on the first turn. My Attitude and Dybala collided approaching the home turn checking Dybala and Riddles. My Attitude and Riddles collided in the home straight. Bomber's Return tired approaching the winning post.
Bomber's Return underwent a post race veterinary examination and no injury was apparent.
Podim underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 11. Podium was found to have an injured left achilles tendon. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
