Steward's Report
No Problem John, Conkacoin and Plain Name were slow to begin.
Lisa's Edge and Firework Joey collided soon after the start checking Firework Joey. Got Some Zip and No Problem John collided at the 150m mark checking Got Some Zip, No Problem John and Miss Cheekiness. Got Some Zip and No Problem John collided approaching the 50m mark checking No Problem John and Plain Name. Dezzy Driver eased approaching the winning post.
Dezzy Driver underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Formosa, the representative of Dezzy Driver regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Dezzy Driver was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Dezzy Driver is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
