Challis Sprite was slow to begin. Kiss Me Putu and Seeka Moment collided soon after the start. Challis Sprite and Kiss Me Putu collided approaching the first turn checking Kiss Me Putu. Kiss Me Putu faltered approaching the first turn and subsequently pulled up. New Fire Girl was checked off Ryder Sir approaching the first turn. Challis Sprite was checked off New Fire Girl on the first turn. Ryder Sir and Mother Monster collided on the first turn.
Kiss Me Putu was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
