A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Cee Me Ignite upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling, a pre-race sample was subsequently taken.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Archer the trainer of the greyhound Class Edge regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Class Edge last raced on 29/07/18. Mr. Archer advised the greyhound was returning to racing following a fractured left tibia.
Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Bickerton the representative for the greyhound Pacific Action regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Pacific Action last raced on 04/07/18. Mr. Bickerton advised the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.
Spectator was quick to begin. Modern Jagger was slow to begin. Class Edge, Cee Me Ignite and Pacific Action collided soon after the start checking Good Move.
